🛖 event space

• event takes place in a workshop garage with no temperature regulation.
• there is an above-ground pool, but it will likely be too cold to use.
• my parents may be in the vicinity!
• there may be spiders 🕷️ and wasps 🐝 (we are working to remove them)

🎤 karaoke

• smartphones can be used to browse the song list, request songs, trigger audio/visual effects, and chat with our Twitch audience - please keep your phone charged!
• audio/visual effects can be triggered by using channel points, a Twitch currency you can earn for free by watching my streams here!
• wi-fi and charging stations will be available, but consider bringing your own backup batteries.
• microphones will be live for the entire event!

🏠 house

• please avoid staying inside the house for too long! it should not be treated as a place to hang out.
• three (3) bathrooms are available for use.
• take your shoes off if going upstairs or downstairs.
• kitchen is available for use, please give a heads-up beforehand so we are able to accommodate it.

💥 rules

1) do not use IRL names or mention ultra-specific locations!referencing places like Minnesota or the MN State Fair are OK. IRL names are fine if the person does not go by a different streamer name. stick to whatever is written on their nametag!you are welcome to introduce yourself to my parents with your human name so long as you are not near the microphones.2) alcohol is welcome, but do not get too drunk!the hosts would appreciate if you didn't get sick in the bathrooms. also, you will not be able to spend the night!3) no more than two people may sing at a time!this rule is mostly a courtesy to our Twitch audience - the more people at the mic, the worse it sounds. (please envision the peaking if 5 people sang mr. brightside)this rule can bend depending on the situation, but the strict maximum is 4 singers - 2 per microphone.examples when additional singers are OK:
- the song calls for multiple parts (musical, theatrical, etc)
- a singer is nervous and would like someone to help them out
- there's really cool harmony potentialplease do NOT sing from the audience, unless requested by the singers. cheering, clapping, and tambourines are OK!4) photography is allowed, but sharing/posting photos is not ...... UNLESS everyone in the photo has approved it! posting photos in private spaces like the event thread in Discord or the Partiful invite album is OK.5) RSVP spots are strict at the request of the hosts!do not show up if you are not marked as attending that day, and do not distribute the event password to anyone.

we will have a designated area for displaying merchandise of everyone's vtubers for sale or as freebies!if payment is required, this will not be monitored and will be done via QR code mobile payments to each person’s venmo/paypal/etc. to protect privacy, QR codes will be kept in a closed binder to avoid appearing in photographs.please provide me with a printable QR code by 9/17 to have it added to the payment binder, and contact me if you would like images added to the catalogue!please bring some way to display/hold your items (bowl, cup, box, etc) that can be placed on the table, otherwise we can improvise with whatever is lying around.• physical items only! buyers must be able to walk out with their purchases. payment for preordered items or items shipping from another location is not allowed.
• items may only feature your vtuber and vtubers that are friends of the community.for example:

the first wave of invites are open to "streamers who sing" - do i count?

if you have not participated in my streams this year, consider waiting until the second wave of invites as a courtesy to those who are active in my community!

can i RSVP as "maybe" during the first wave, even if i do not qualify?
yes 👍 this is encouraged!can i RSVP if i am not a streamer or singer?
yes - but please wait until the requested date to do so. as much as i want to host everyone, the current setup has a hard invite limit. since this is a singing event for streamers, i want to give those folks priority. remaining spots will be opened up to everyone else at a later date! an exception to this is that any person hosting a non-local guest for the event may RSVP at any point.for example:
- regardless of their intention to sing, Seren may RSVP at any time because they are hosting Owen for the event.

song list

where is the song spreadsheet?
gone! you can now make direct edits to my StreamerSongList. please log in to the website using your Twitch, and you should automatically receive permissions to edit my list. if that doesn't work, please contact me.can i check if a specific song is available through the KaraFun program?
yes 👍 they have their whole catalogue online!can i add songs to StreamerSongList that are not in the KaraFun catalogue?
yes 👍 as of right now, i have not decided if i want to use KaraFun for 100% of this year's event. it is possible we may switch to YouTube for a certain period of time. also, i think the list will continue being useful for future situations that may not involve KaraFun.for songs that aren't on KaraFun, should i link a preferred YouTube video in the comment section?
yes 👍 if you have one! though it is not required.

yes 👍 it's whatever i'm just using the deadline to get people to commit to it LOLi don't have a traditional vtuber - can i still bring merch?
yes 👍 but only if you limit it to the one character you are choosing to represent yourself as!for example:
- Mith can bring merch of Zaiquiri, a FFXIV character they use to represent themselves when streaming. if doing so, Mith cannot bring merch of any additional characters they identify as.
- Teal cannot bring merch of Talmage, a D&D character they use to represent themselves when streaming, because they are choosing to represent themselves as Teal for the event.
